BLOOD DRIVE

The SJN Health Ministry coordinates monthly blood drives in partnership with the American Red Cross. You must be 17 years of age and weigh 110 pounds or more to donate. First-time donors are always welcome.
To ensure a good donation experience:
- Eat more iron rich foods - red meat, fish, poultry or liver, beans, raisins, prunes and green leafy vegitables.
- Drink extra water! In the days before you donate, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
- Get a good night's sleep
- Have a good breakfast or lunch
